Why Is Medicare Supplement Insurance Important?

Simply put, insurance is something that can help protect you and your loved one’s interests so you can have the financial support you need when things are difficult in life.  If you are wondering ‘’why is medicare supplement insurance important, this text may help you a lot.

As you age, and become eligible for federal government funded health insurance – otherwise known as Medicare, you may need to still supplement with a private health insurance, because Medicare won’t cover a lot of things, and you’ll be stuck with some pretty big bills.  Medicare Supplement Insurance is a product that can help you pay for the things that Original Medicare (Parts A and B) do not typically pay for.  I know this from first-hand experience.  My father was hospitalized for 112 days a few years ago, and his hospital bill was over $3,000,000.  Yes, you heard me right.  Why is medicare supplement insurance important in this case?
