Policy Solver Insurance Agency (“Policy Solver) was built to make it easy for people to learn about and shop for insurance, get the best rates and coverage possible due to it being appointed by several major insurance carriers across multiple insurance industry verticals. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it including the confidentiality of your personal and financial information.

By accessing and using the Site, you consent to the terms of use including what’s outlined in this document and the disclaimer material.  This includes as the collection, use, and storage of your information by us in the manner described in this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change and update this Privacy Policy and such updated versions will be posted on the Site. This Privacy Policy supersedes all earlier versions of such policy.

What information is collected on the Site?

We collect personal information from you to help you use our products and services, and this may be done while requesting a quote, submitting your application, through your use of our Site, discussing your application or insurance product with us, or by providing feedback to us. By “personal information,” we mean information that specifically identifies you as an individual.  Generally speaking you do not have to  create an account that personally identifies you in order to view the Site Content. If you choose to obtain a quote using any of our online tools, you may initially be asked to provide personally identifiable information including name, phone number, email address, and possibly other information.  From time to time, we may contact you with information regarding our products or services.

If you choose to apply for an insurance policy through Policy Solver, you will then be asked to provide your personal information as part of your insurance application process. You will have the option to apply for a policy, where you will be asked to provide further information about your health, lifestyle, and financials. The information we collect and the extent to which we use it for the application process will vary depending on the product or service involved.  We will not sell your information to any third party marketing services.

Non-personal Information

The Site collects certain standard Internet log information that you do not visibly enter, such as your browser type, Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer or device, browser type, clickstream data, operating system, loading or exiting of web pages, HTTP protocol elements, and the status of cookies placed on your computer by policysolver.com In addition, in order to manage and improve our Site, we or our service providers may use cookies (small packets of information that are stored by your web browser) or web beacons (electronic images that allow us to count visitors who have accessed a webpage). These tools do not identify you personally and allow us to track and analyze aggregated usage data about our Site. This information may be shared on an anonymous aggregated basis. You may choose to block or disable cookies from your device using your browser settings or options. However, this may impact your user experience and parts of the Site may not work for you. You cannot remove or block web beacons as they form part of the content of the web pages, however because they work in conjunction with cookies, turning off cookies will prevent web beacons from tracking your user activity on our Site. The beacon can still account for an anonymous visit, but your unique information will not be recorded.

How is your information used?

If you choose to provide personally identifiable information to us through the Site or through any lead forms or marketing campaigns we run on either our site or vendor sites (Google, Facebook, Bing etc…), we will use that information for the intended purposes for example, to quote, apply for, and help issue you an insurance policy. That can and may include calling , emailing, texting, or mailing you directly. Applications for insurance become the property of Policy Solver, and may be used for any purposes ordinarily associated with such applications and retained in accordance with our processes for retaining such documentation and applicable law. If you apply for an insurance product, we may use your personal information to deliver your products and services, underwrite your application, provide you with customer service, and communicate with you during the life insurance application process, and as we deem appropriate for our internal business purposes and to fulfill our legal and regulatory requirements. The information collected generally for applications varies depending on the products or services you request and may include:

We may anonymize and aggregate information provided by you or any third-party reports, to use for internal purposes such as for modeling, internal systems improvements, and other internal processes.

Is my personal information saved?

Yes, but only if you request a quote or decide to register and fill out an application questionnaire.

How is my personal information shared?

We may share personal information for the following reasons:

  • We may disclose your personal information to third parties engaged by us to fulfill your requests, assist with completing and submitting your application (including through external producers), administer or enforce a transaction you requested or obtained, verify your identity to help manage and improve our Site and services, and/or for any other insurance related needs including offering you other insurance products and services. In these cases, we require such third parties to restrict their use of such information to the intended purposes for which they were engaged.
  • When you have requested a life insurance product, Policy Solver may send your information to the insurance company or multiple so we can provide you with the most accurate quotes.
  • As necessary to comply with any applicable law or legal process.

When does my personal information get sent to an insurance company?  When you authorize us to being the formal application process.

What will the insurance companies use my personal information for?  The insurance companies and any other vendors they work with, will use your information for underwriting purposes to determine your risk classification for the insurance product you are applying for, as well as to issue and administer any policy you may obtain.

This information may be used for, but is not limited to, the following purposes: requesting medical records, financial records, credit records, driving records, or other third-party sourced information during the underwriting process. Rates displayed on Policy Solver are based on basic underwriting guidelines only and/or industry data we that is either public or that we have access to.   Ultimately, the insurance carrier for the product(s) you apply for, will determine the exact and final price (premium) for you insurance policy.

Children’s Online Privacy

The site is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We will not intentionally collect information from anyone under the age of 13.  If you think we have collected personal information from a child under 13, then please contact us at admin@policysolver.com

Notice to California Residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) requires qualifying companies to provide to California residents an explanation of how such companies collect, use, and share their personal information, and of the rights and choices offered to California residents regarding handling of their personal information.

Under the CCPA, this Notice to California Residents and the privacy practices and rights it describes do not apply to the information we collect, use, or disclose about visitors to the Site when they initiate the process of applying for our financial products and services.
