Today we’re starting a quick read series around long term care planning.  Each day for the next month, we’re going to be highlighting things to consider as you spend part of 2022 doing long term planning.  So here’s Part 1.

In today’s post, we’re going to talk about the concept of what it means to get started.  Sounds simple enough, but when it comes to making a plan for your care needs later in life, your spouse’s care needs, or perhaps your parents care needs, there’s a lot more than meets the eye.  Most of us don’t want to think about what it means to grow old, and be unable to perform routine tasks like bathing, dressing, or eating on our own.   Unfortunately, we all keep getting a little older each day, and because there are so many things to think about including where you would like to receive care, how you would like to receive it, and what it could cost you, the sooner you start to make a plan the better.  So, today I’ll just end by saying there’s no better time to start your long term care planning than today.   If there’s anything we can do to help with that, please let us know.  Feel free to sign up for a free consultation, or visit the rest of the site to learn more about long term care insurance. Till tomorrow….
